RECAP of the 2024 Annual JCS Charity Golf Tournament in Kentucky

On June 7th, JCS hosted its Annual Charity Golf Tournament in Bardstown, Kentucky, benefiting the Wounded Warriors Foundation and what an incredible day it was! This year we had a larger group of Distillers and Sponsors come together and spend a sunny day at Bardstown Country Club golf course. The day was filled with friendly competition, valuable conversations, and memorable moments with colleagues from the bourbon industry. Here’s a brief recap of the highlights of this remarkable event!

GREAT CAUSE TO SUPPORT WWP logo-1

This year’s event supported the Wounded Warrior Project, a charity that helps empower, employ, and engage America’s injured veterans. We’re proud to say this event raised over $15,000 for this worthy cause.

FANTASTIC COMPANIES & SPONSORS

It was wonderful to have employees from distilleries representing Willett, Four Roses, Beam Suntory, Angel’s Envy, Campari, Heaven Hill, Log Still, Makers Mark, Brown Forman, Diageo, Barton 1792, Bardstown Bourbon Company, Holladay Distillery, and Starlight participate in this tournament and donate their companies’ best products for our raffle table.

A hearty thank you goes to Haskell, our dinner Sponsor, for the prime rib and salmon feast after the tournament.

We also extend our sincerest gratitude to our remarkable sponsors; Crosby-Brownlie, Alfa Laval, Emerson Solutions, George E. Booth, Joseph & Joseph Architects, Midwest Barrel, Horse Soldier, Donaldson Filtration Solutions, Boulter Industrial, KDA (Kentucky Distiller’s Assoc), and the University of Kentucky Beam Institute.  We wouldn’t be able to hold this charity golf event without their generous support.

PARTICIPATING DISTILLERS

A huge thank you to our distillers who donated so generously to our dinner raffle.   The swag tables were fully loaded and generated over $3,000 in raffle purchases.   A special thanks to James Mmbando and Heaven Hill for going over the top on the bourbon and swag gifts brought to the event.

Congratulations to the Four Rose’s team of Kendrick Greenwell, Jarrett Clark, Levi Lake and Andrew Johnson for posting the best score of the day and taking home the Championship Barrel Staves.

THANK YOU and SAVE THE DATE

To all our participants, sponsors, and the JCS organizing committee, we extend our sincerest thanks for making this an unforgettable event. We can’t wait to tee off again at Bardstown Country Club, Friday June 6th, 2025, creating unforgettable memories and strengthening the Bardstown community.
