    JCS, a leader in the manufacturing of food and Beverage processing equipment, is searching for a dynamic Sales Account Manager on the West Coast. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key clients in the food and beverage industry, selling our state-of-the-art systems and providing exceptional customer service.     What you will be doing:

    The Sales Account Manager will collaborate with department leaders to find, cultivate, and close opportunities with existing and new customers for the design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of alcoholic and non-alcoholic, dairy and beverage processing systems for JCS customers. They will manage their key accounts to coordinate technical support with the JCS Field Service Department, as well as help those key accounts plan for and budget capital projects.

     

    Responsibilities include:

    • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients in the food and beverage industry.
    • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Mountain and Pacific regions, focusing on potential clients in the food and beverage sector.
    • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our systems and their applications within the food and beverage industry to effectively communicate their value to clients.
    • Solution Selling: Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and challenges, and tailor solutions that address these issues effectively.
    • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to proactively identify opportunities and threats.
    • Technical Support: Coordinate with the technical support team to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of our systems for clients.
    • Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and forecasts, ensuring accurate tracking of sales activities and progress.

     

    What you should bring to the table:

    • Four year degree in Business or Technical Field is great but experience in food processing equipment, whether in sales or hands on, is valued
    • B2B selling experience to large accounts OR engineering/management experience in food production
    • Ability to read and interpret prints (P&ID preferred)
    • Experienced in the elements of manufacturing project management including: documentation, cost control, methodology, scheduling, and profitability.
    • Travel (up to 30%) to customer sites throughout the U.S. is required, with away-from-home stays, including to our home office in Rochester, NY
