    What you will be doing:

    As the Manager of Project Management, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of our diverse range of projects. You will be responsible for leading a team of skilled project managers, guiding them through all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept to completion. Your ability to balance technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and business acumen will be critical in achieving project objectives while fostering a positive and motivated team atmosphere.

    Responsibilities include:

    Leadership and Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of project managers, cultivating a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence. Empower your team members to achieve their full potential and foster an environment of creativity and innovation.

    Project Planning and Execution: Oversee the development and implementation of project plans, ensuring alignment with client requirements, timelines, and budgets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and production, to ensure seamless project execution.

    Customer Engagement: Promote and maintain good customer relationships amongst your team

    Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and budgets. Demonstrate adaptability and resourcefulness when faced with unforeseen challenges.

    Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, seeking out opportunities to enhance project management processes and methodologies. Implement best practices and stay abreast of industry trends to drive efficiency and innovation.

    Financial Oversight: Collaborate with the finance team to monitor project budgets and financial performance. Ensure projects are executed profitably while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

     

    What you should bring to the table:

    • Four year technical degree (BS; or other directly related degree program)
    • Minimum of five years project management experience in a liquid/food, batch processing, design or manufacturing environment.
    • ·Minimum of two years managing an engineering team of project managers.
    • Familiarity working with Microsoft Office and Outlook packages
    • ·Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD electrical and pneumatic drawings as well as IO sheets.
    • ·Ability to understand and interpret P&ID’s and functional descriptions
    • ·Ability to relate the processing system to the software controls
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, be able to work well with a team, as well as be self-reliant and independent when necessary.
    • No stranger the elements of manufacturing system project management including: documentation, cost control, methodology, scheduling, and profitability.
    • Travel (up to 20%) to customer sites throughout the U.S. is required, with away-from-home stays of 1 day to several weeks.
